A LEVEL RESULTS
Sir Thomas Wharton Academy Sixth Form students, as part of the Maltby Learning Trust Post 16 collaborative, have achieved an excellent set of A Level and Academic qualifications, beating last year's performance at all grades. Students have worked with diligence and commitment to secure the top grades and high quality progression routes. 100% of students achieved pass grades at A* to E, with A*/A grades tripling since last year at 18%. All students achieved positive progression routes to the top universities and Apprenticeships.
Highest achieving students include Louis Laidler with 4 A grades; Matthew Smeaton with A*, A, A; Isabelle Walker with A*, B, B and Nathan Smith who achieved 5 A levels B, B, C, C, C. Many students are progressing to the top universities in the Russell Group to study degrees including Medicine, Politics, History and to high quality Apprenticeships including Rolls Royce and the Armed Forces.
