Our French curriculum provides an opening to the wider world, fostering students’ curiosity, creativity and appreciation of other cultures and languages. The curriculum provides students with the skills to communicate with other people around the globe, whilst developing broader skill sets that are essential for life after school.
Our curriculum is built on an understanding that language learning is not simply the study of language alone, but is a cultural experience, enabled through the wide-ranging study of high quality authentic texts in a variety of formats.
Through the curriculum, we encourage creativity through engaging realistic contexts in which students invest and consequently gain the confidence to achieve their communicative aims.
